Miller Motorcars JC9 Supercar

The Porsche 917k ended a decade of Ferrari dominance at Le Mans in 1970 and 1971, and Steve McQueen immortalized it on film the same year. Connecticut dealer Miller Motorcars and designer Jason Castriota drew on the 917k as the template for the JC9, a one-off restomod built on a Carrera GT, the analog-era supercar that typically trades for $2 million or more. The Carrera GT's wide mouth and round headlamps are gone, replaced by a low nose, narrow grille, gull-wing doors, pronounced arches, and exposed rear tires, all in full carbon fiber construction. The 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V10, rated at 605 horsepower, remains untouched and fully visible at the rear, as does the pushrod suspension and much of the original interior: center console, gearshift, and seats reupholstered in royal blue suede with orange stitching and tartan inserts. It's a one-off, and no price has been announced.
