Munro Series M Electric SUV
Scotland's Munro Vehicles has revealed the production version of its electric SUV after five years of development. Originally called the MK_1, the M Series is being made in two variants, with the main difference being power. The M170 is powered by a 226 horsepower axial-flux motor, 4,960-pound towing capacity, and 85kWh battery with 195 miles of range. The top-line M280 uses a 375 horsepower axial-flux motor with a 7,716-pound tow rating and identical battery capacity and range figures. Both versions feature permanent four-wheel-drive, with the M280 also coming standard with electronic aids like ABS, ESP, and traction control as standard. The M170 and M280 both come in either a four-door pickup or Defender 110-style wagon body styles and some of the squarest, most utilitarian lines ever seen on a civilian vehicle. Both the M170 and M280 are open for orders now.
