Pioneer TS-X40SXT Heritage Car Speakers
Pioneer's TS-X40SXT is an all-new pair of box speakers that take their cues from the company's 1984 TS-X60. A dark silver paint job echoes the original's metallic look, while clear parts and wire mesh grilles carry the period styling over a resin enclosure. The boxes mount to a rear deck with the included brackets, so nothing has to be cut from door panels or trim. Each one houses a 5-1/4-inch woofer, a 2-1/4-inch midrange and a tweeter, with cellulose fiber cones on the woofer and midrange and double-slit ports to vent the bass. Rated at 100 watts peak, the pair works with any 4-ohm head unit or amp, and Pioneer recommends its matching SXT-C10PS Heritage receiver.
