One of these 77 buyers had a change of heart — or more likely, the opportunity to line their own pockets proved irresistible — and is selling their spot on the build list for over twice Porsche's $817,000 asking price. While immediately flipping limited-release supercars is nothing new — see John Cena's Ford GT debacle and Porsche's own 911 R and Cayman GT4 woes — it's highly likely this buyer will be thrown out of Porsche's good graces. While the legal ramifications are unclear, buying this build slot could be risky with $1.6 million on the line, and could be a bitter loss no matter how well-heeled the buyer.
