The Ferrari 250 GT SWB is considered by many to be the greatest road-going car the company has ever produced. From its sweeping lines to excellent chassis and sublime V12, the love for the 250 GT is shown in its staggering value to collectors. England-based RML is looking to recapture that magic with the Short Wheelbase Coupe, a 550 Maranello with coachwork that pays homage to the late-'50s original. RML starts with the 550 Maranello's chassis and 478 horsepower 5.5-liter V12. The bodywork is perfectly proportioned to the 550 underpinnings, while the interior has been given a makeover with a dash and instrumentation in the style of the original 250 GT. RML plans to produce 30 units of the Short Wheelbase.
