The new Suzuki Jimny had some big tire tracks to fill when it was released in 2018. In production since 1970, the Jimny gained a reputation as a formidable small 4x4 in the vein of the Jeep Wrangler, Land Rover Defender, and first-generation Toyota Land Cruiser. Adrian Abrahams of the blog Roam Overlanding was an early adopter of the latest Jimny, kitting the SUV out and putting it through its paces for over a year in the harsh terrain of South Africa and surrounding countries.
