Sanda Island
Just off the coast of Scotland is Sanda Island, a 417-acre spread that's now available for the right owner. Located near the Mull of Kintyre peninsula, Sanda Island's biggest draw is the rough-hewn terrain and rolling pastures Scotland is famous for. Those pastures are home to 55 Scottish Blackface sheep, while human visitors have seven residential properties to choose from. A cluster of four at the northern end of the island can house 14, while the others near a lighthouse at the southern end can host 12 more. The dwellings have all been remodeled and modernized by the current owners — although approximating 19th-century living is a possibility. Also included are the nearby Sheep and Glunimore islands, with fauna ranging from deer to puffins, guillemots, and razorbills. The sale is being handled by Knight Frank.
