Segway Xyber E-Bike

Segway is hitting the dirt with the Xyber e-bike, revealed at the 2024 CES event. While it has pedals, the Xyber is built on a motorcycle-like dual cradle frame with an inverted front fork and rear monoshock with 4.7 inches of travel. With the battery pack mounted at the rear of the cradle, the resulting open space gives the Xyber sleek look with dirtbike proportions. Adding to that are an X-shaped headlight, scrambler-style seat, fork guards, and spoke wheels with fat tires. A single electric puts out 129 lb-ft of torque, with 20 MPH coming in just 2.5 seconds. A second optional battery can extend range to 95 miles. Segway has yet to announce pricing, with the Xyber set to be available in the second half of 2024.
