The passage of time is inevitable. CW&T's Solid State Watch lets you track it while also serving as a reminder of our own march through it. It does do by encasing the ever-reliable Casio F-91W movement in a transparent resin case. Permanently. There are no buttons to push, no functions, no light. Even the date window is hidden behind an orange dot since it will become inaccurate after the first leap year that passes. The watch itself is made 3D printing the main body, then cast, heat, vacuum, and UV curing the movement — set to the wearer's time zone — into the body. Fully waterproof, it's finished with a custom-sized and -printed Hook Strap Elastic Watch Band from Nick Mankey Designs, and is estimated to last ten years.
