Somewhere Else Resort

Pharrell Williams and David Grutman are following up their Goodtime Hotel in Miami with the Somewhere Else Resort. The 400-room hotel will be an extension of Atlantis Paradise Island, taking over The Beach designed by Morris Lapidus. Its renovation will be overseen by New York City-based firm Rockwell Group and will introduce tropical modernism with lush landscaping and a contemporary aesthetic. The property will also host bungalows with recording studios, multiple restaurants, bars, and cabana-lined pools. The Somewhere Else Resort is expected to open in January 2024.
