TAG Heuer Monaco Speed 12 Watch

The Monaco has been TAG Heuer's square-cased racing icon since Steve McQueen wore one in Le Mans in 1971, and the Speed 12 is the most mechanically unusual version the brand has ever built. Developed with fellow LVMH company La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the Caliber TH84-00 replaces conventional hour markers with 12 rhodium-plated rotating pistons arranged in a ring around the openworked dial, each turning 90 degrees on the hour in sequence, the way cylinders fire in a V12 engine. The 40mm grade 5 titanium case features a sapphire bezel, domed sapphire crystal, and sapphire caseback, with four black DLC-coated arches at the corners suspending the movement visibly within the case. The automatic movement offers a 45-hour power reserve, and the watch ships on a black rubber strap with red stitching. Limited to 50 numbered pieces.
