Tanner Van De Veer Harley-Davidson Revival Motorcycle
Tanner Van De Veer is on a mission to bring Harley-Davidson to a whole new generation of riders. A recent Industrial Design grad from the University of Cincinnati, Van De Veer's thesis project is more than just a new bike — it's an entire pathway to move the brand forward into the future. From identifying Harley's current problems with attracting younger buyers to the steps needed to get them into dealers, Van De Veer has everything mapped out in detail, along with renderings of his new Revival motorcycle. The Revival is positioned as an entry-level electric bike with a low starting price and light, accessible dimensions that are a far cry from the heavy highway cruisers Harley is most associated with. Lower and smaller, the open-frame design recalls Harley's earliest models while adding the sustainability and tech features that a young, forward-thinking customer base demands. Let's see if Harley takes Van De Veer's advice.
