But unlike that computer animated cartoon, his latest effort used an astounding number of practical effects in lieu of CGI. The Art of Mad Max: Fury Road documents the creation of this modern day throwback from storyboard to final cut, examining the crazy characters, vehicles, makeup, and locations that make his latest post-apocalyptic tale so distinct.
