The Glenturret x Jaguar C-Type Scotch Whiskey
In 1953, the Jaguar C-Type — and its then-cutting edge disc brakes — dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 9th while setting a new average speed record of 105.84mph. To mark the 70th anniversary of the achievement, the British marque teamed with The Glenturret, Scotland's oldest working distillery, to create a special spirit. The result is a single malt Scotch drawn from 5 casks at least 32 years of age. The Oloroso sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads bring fruit and spice notes to the table. In contrast, a single Pedro Ximenez sherry-seasoned American Oak cask gives the mixture both sweet vanilla and light oak flavors. Bottled at 43.2% ABV, it's limited to 220 bottles that arrive housed in a commemorative wooden box.
