Triumph Trident Motorcycle Concept
It's been 45 years since a Triumph bike wore the Trident name. The original stopped production in 1975 and competed against the Honda CB750 for the title of original superbike — which it lost. A brief comeback in the '90s didn't make an impact, but Triumph is resurrecting the name for 2021 in the form of an entry-level roadster. Using the three-cylinder engine from the Street Triple, the Trident looks to package that performance into a slightly more every-day capable bike. A more relaxed riding position coupled with updated electronics gives features expected in modern bikes, while modern-retro styling touches like a round headlight and knee indentions in the tank give it plenty of visual appeal. Expect to see the Trident in dealerships around the start of the 2021 riding season.
