Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Watch
In 2019, photographer and explorer Cory Richards strapped a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time prototype to his wrist on an Everest climb. His expedition proved it could withstand the intense conditions, and now it's a permanent collection ready for your next trip scaling Kilimanjaro or just enduring the transatlantic commute. The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points comes in a 41mm grade 5 titanium case, integrated bracelet included, with each dial mapped to a compass point: white for North, brown for South, green for West, and blue for East. The North's white dial runs three finishes: a grained center, circular satin on the internal minute track, and a lacquered external track, with 18K white gold hands and orange dual-time indicators cutting through cleanly. The in-house Calibre 5110 DT/3 keeps it practical: local time adjusts via a dedicated pusher, an orange arrow-tipped hand tracks home time with a day/night indicator, and the date at 6 o'clock syncs to local time automatically. The matte anthracite grey bezel carries the Overseas's signature Maltese Cross cutaway notches, and the 22K gold rotor behind the sapphire caseback wears a compass rose motif. Three straps ship with every reference: the titanium bracelet, an orange rubber strap, and a color-matched white rubber option. Hallmark of Geneva certified.
