When Johann Kepler wrote Galileo Galilei that humans would reach the stars on the heavenly winds, it turns out he wasn't just making a metaphor. While we might not ever make it, spacecraft with sails designed to ride a massive beam of light to Alpha Centauri, the nearest star to Earth, can. The Atlantic looks at how this technology could get us to the stars, with spaceships that cost as much as a smartphone.
Now Netflix is just being cruel. After leaving Barb in the Upside Down with no explanation about her health or safety, they're making a mockery out of our favorite Stranger Things character by turning her into a soup. Although we're totally against the treatment of Barb, we have to admit she does look rather tasty as a bowl of french onion soup.

Bar soap rarely gets an upgrade, but the Duke Cannon Soap Puck rethinks the format with a compact, palm-sized design built for grip, portability, and longevity. Triple-milled for a denser, longer-lasting bar, it delivers a rich lather while holding up better than typical soaps, making it just as suited for daily showers as it is for gym bags and travel kits. Formulated with natural oils and free of phthalates, it cleans without overcomplicating things, while the rounded puck shape feels deliberate in hand. It's a small shift in form that turns a basic essential into something more considered and durable.

Turns out that the the "character" Nick Offerman and the man Nick Offerman aren't too philosophically apart. In this sit-down interview with Sam Jones, Nick gives his thoughts on the all-American pastime of buying stuff, the importance of making things, and giving children the opportunity to see that not everything has to come off the shelf of a massive box store.
He's been bitten by an alligator and stung by a cow killer. Now Coyote Peterson is taking a sting from the Tarantula Hawk. Not only is this the largest species of wasp in the Unites States, but it eats freaking tarantulas for lunch. Needless to say, he immediately regretted his decision.

Nike launches the Vomero 18 with a stacked cushioning setup designed for longer miles and everyday training. The silhouette combines ZoomX foam layered above ReactX foam to create a softer ride while maintaining responsiveness underfoot. Additional outsole pods are positioned at high-contact zones to improve agility and smooth out heel-to-toe transitions across pavement, treadmills, and track surfaces. A padded tongue and reinforced upper add structure to the fit, while the retro-inspired colorway pushes the Vomero beyond running and into everyday wear equally built for early morning mileage, coffee stops, and city streets afterward.

Indiana Jones is on the hunt for an artifact of great power — the head of C-3PO. This Indiana Jones and Star Wars mashup has Indy dodging lasers, running from rolling Death Stars, and nearly being skewered by ewoks. Fabrice Mathieu created this great short for the 35th anniversary of the classic Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Sure, there are plenty of amazing Lego sets, but the really impressive builds come from those who think outside of the box. Woodworker Peter Brown did just that when he put his skills to $200-worth of Legos. Using 250 bricks and 20 ounces of resin, he made a working skateboard by hand. Once it was complete, he sent it over to they guys at Braille Skateboarding so they could give it a test run and see just how much abuse it could handle.
