Do you really need a $700 bike to take on a MTB trail? Phil Kmetz tests this theory by buying a Huffy Carnage at his local Walmart for $180 and taking it down a double black diamond downhill trail. Although the breaks were completely shot, the shock absorbers were leaking oil, and the handle bars were trashed, the bike managed to get Kmetz down the trail mostly in one piece.
