As the personal computer and video game revolution swept the West during the COld War 80s, something similar was happening in the Soviet Bloc countries of the East. Sharing software and purchasing hardware was easy for anyone west of the Berlin Wall, but scarcity and government regulations made it much more difficult on the other side.
