During the filming of Uncut Gems, the excellent Safdie brothers-directed film starring Adam Sandler, they took on a little side project — secretly shooting the short film Goldman v Silverman in Times Square. The film follows two street performers that work the tourist crowd, with Goldman trying to out-perform Silverman, and Silverman making sure Goldman falls flat. Benny Safdie stars as Silverman with Sandler playing Goldman.
