In 2019, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago organized the Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech touring exhibit, celebrating the 20-year career of the trailblazing designer. The showcase is accompanied by a collection of merchandise, including a catalog of the visionary's iconic works. Named after the show, the 500-page book examines the late designer's influence that spanned across architecture, streetwear, and high fashion through a series of essays and interviews. It also includes images from Abloh's personal archives, unveiling the process behind his genius with snapshots, prototypes, and inspirations, along with text from the creator himself.
