In Sri Lanka where the bushland meets the beach, the Wild Coast Tented Lodge immerses guests in the local wilderness. The retreat is made up of 36-domed tents strung along the Indian Ocean. Their canvas exteriors integrate themselves into the landscape, resembling the surrounding boulders that dot the terrain while their interior's offer five-star luxury in the form of teak floors, king beds, and copper soaking tubs. At the center of the property, two shingled structures house a poolside bar, restaurant, and library overlooking the water. Neighboring Yala National Park — the second largest in the country — the resort uses solar panels, sustainable materials. and water collection systems to keep the impact on the pristine environment at a minimum.
