Wondermint Schnapps
H.R. Schoolcraft was a geographer and ethnologist known for his early studies of Native American cultures and expeditions across the U.S. During his travels Schoolcraft came across Wisconsin Schnapps which was available for 4 cents a dram. Wondermint was created with Schnapps from that era in mind, starting with a vodka base and adding mint, almond oil, rosewater, and wormwood. The result is a drier, less sugary liqueur, perfect in a refreshing shot or as a replacement for vodka in a Minty Mule cocktail.
