Woodford Reserve decided to take the partnership to the next level with Honey Barrel Finish Bourbon Whiskey. It's a blend of standard Woodford and Woodford that's been finished in honey barrels, resulting in a liquid with the color of raw honey. Floral and spice notes hit the nose before the flavor comes through with tastes of raw honey, baking spices, oak, and coconut, followed by a long, toasty finish. It's receiving a limited release for Fall 2022.
