1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV Hardtop Coupe

There was a time when fast and flashy didn't always go together. This wonderfully understated 1970 GTO was at the top of Pontiac's performance lineup, although it hardly shows from the outside. If not for the twin functional Ram Air scoops and bubble tach, one would be hard-pressed to tell it apart from the lesser Le Mans. Wearing its original Pepper Green, the car was refreshed around 2009 before being acquired by the seller. The 400ci V8 breathes through Pontiac's Ram Air IV system, with shifting by a Muncie four-speed transmission. Options include 3.90 rear gears, power front disc brakes, and an AM radio. The car was recently auctioned for $105,000 on Bring a Trailer.
