1974 BMW 2002 Turbo Coupe

BMW created the sports sedan when it introduced the 2002 in 1968. The first factory turbocharged car from BMW came in 1973 with the 2002 Turbo, based on the 2002 tii. The 2002 Turbo would last only a year before the 1974 oil crisis killed it, with only 1,672 produced. This makes the 2002 Turbo one of the most sought-after BMWs, and the 1974 model pictured here is fresh off a three-year restoration. The 1,998cc four features fuel injection and a single KKK turbocharger, making 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque through a five-speed manual transmission. The car also comes with the front seats that were exclusive to the 2002 Turbo, Alpina wheels, center-exit exhaust, and BMW Classic certification.
