1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole

While the Countach might have been getting a bit long in the tooth by 1988, its appeal as a supercar certainly had not. A design update by Horacio Pagani and the continued improvement of the V12 and chassis kept the Countach competitive. This 1988 Countach LP5000 is a testament to that longevity, especially with its Giallo Fly colorway over a Testa di Moro leather interior and 414 horsepower V12. This US-market LP5000 is one of just 631 LP5000 Quattrovalvoles produced. With its large spoiler, side skirts, and fender flares, it for many represents the epitome of the Countach. Originally sold new in the US, the car crossed the Atlantic to Denmark and Germany, where it had a major engine-out service in 2021. The car is currently up for auction on Cars and Bids with six days left.
