1997 Ferrari Giallo Modena F50

Ferrari celebrated its 50th anniversary in its typical spectacular style -- with the release of the F50. Underneath the rear clamshell was a naturally-aspirated 4.7-liter, 60-valve Tipo F130B V12, developed directly from the engine in Ferrari's 1990 641 Formula One car. The F50's performance numbers are nothing to laugh at 25 years later, and the styling is just as rakish and moving as it was then. 349 were built between 1995 and 1997, making each F50 worth a small fortune, but only 31 were produced in the stunning Giallo, or yellow. Built for the Italian market, the car would end up spending 20 years in the hands of a single owner in Asia before coming to auction October 2nd. These cars rarely come up for public auction, making this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own one of the world's all-time great sports cars.
