2019 Porsche 935 Race Car

Porsche took the wraps off its new 935 at the 2018 Rennsport Reunion in Monterey, California. Based on the legendary 935 "Moby Dick" race car that hit the hit the track in 1978, the new 935 is built on Porsche's 911 GT2 RS, the fastest car in the current 911 lineup. The 935 gets a host of changes from the GT2 RS, including the stunning slant-nose bodywork and an Alcantara-wrapped interior stripped down to the basics — although it does include air conditioning. A digital display, carbon fiber steering wheel, and details like a wood knob on the shifter recall the original 935 and its racing heritage, along with turbofan wheels and a livery based on the Martini scheme worn by the factory 935 team in the 70s. Production of the new 935 is limited to only 77 units, making it an instant classic.
