With the Ford Raptor and the just-introduced Ram TRX, GM fans have been left out of the high-performance truck category. Specialty Vehicle Engineering is filling that gap with the Yenko Silverado, a supercharged offroader that can be ordered from a dealership. The biggest upgrade comes from a balanced and blueprinted LT1 V8 with an SVE supercharger making 800 horsepower and 720 lb-ft of torque. No acceleration figures are available, but anything with that much power is bound to be fast, on-road or off. Ride height is raised four inches with a Fox suspension package and Nitto all-terrain tires are wrapped around 20-inch wheels. A custom Yenko grille, fold-out running boards, and plenty of options like a rollbar and lighting are available. Only 50 Yenko Silverados will be made, for about $130,000 including the base truck needed to drive one home.
