2025 Porsche Electric Macan SUV
Porsche's second battery electric vehicle arrives in the second half of 2024 with the Macan electric crossover. The electric Macan gets a makeover that continues the design language started by the Taycan in 20219, with an ultra-aerodynamic shape that nets a 0.25 drag coefficient. Riding on the Audi-Porsche Premium Platform Electric, the new Macan is four inches longer than the ICE model and sports an 800-volt battery architecture with 95kWh of usable capacity. With a 210kW charger, the 10-80 percent charging time clocks in at 21 minutes. Significantly faster is the Macan Turbo, the top Macan EV model. Porsche claims a 0-60 time of 3.1 seconds for the 630 horsepower, dual-motor Macan. The entry-level Macan 4 also has dual motors and all-wheel-drive like the Turbo but with output restricted to 402 horsepower. Air suspension with Porsche's Active Suspension Management is standard on both SUVs, with rear-wheel steering an option for the first time. Inside is Porsche's latest heads-up display, a 12.6-inch infotainment display, a 10.9-inch digital gauge cluster, and Android Automotive with Apple CarPlay support. The Macan 4 will start at $80,450 and the unlocked Turbo at a much higher $106,950.
