2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe
AMG built its reputation on a single credo: one man, one engine. Each V8 that left the Affalterbach factory carried the hand-signed plaque of the engineer who assembled it. The 2027 AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is the first AMG GT built without an engine to sign. Three axial-flux electric motors produce 1,153 hp and 1,475 lb-ft of torque through AMG's new EA electric architecture, good for 0-60 in 2.0 seconds and a 186 mph top speed with the optional AMG Performance Package. Before launch, AMG validated the platform at the Nardò Ring in Italy, covering 24,901 miles in 7 days and 13 hours to break 25 long-distance records. An 800-volt battery system charges to 80% in minutes, and an AMG RACE ENGINEER Control Unit offers three driving dynamic controllers, Response, Agility, and Traction. For anyone not ready to let go entirely, AMGFORCE S+ mode plays a simulated V8 soundtrack through the cabin. The GT 55 arrives later this year; the GT 63 follows in early 2027.
