Long, low, and with a shape that looks like it's flying while sitting still — Luca Serafini's Alfa Romeo Montreal Vision GT concept is everything an Italian grand tourer should be. The Italians have had a near-monopoly on exciting car design almost since the invention of the car, and Serafini's work continues this grand tradition. Serafini's inspiration was an orange Alfa Romeo Montreal his father owned, and his updated design faithfully captures the excitement of the original. Familiar Alfa themes like the Scudetto Grille feature prominently, and Serafini references the Montreal's classic '70s Italian design elements with a fastback that meets a tall rear and horizontal inlets on the C-pillar. Alfa Romeo is ripe for a high-end GT, and Serafini's updated Montreal would be a great place to start.
