Audi RS 6 Avant GT Wagon

Long live the wagon. Despite the American appetite for every form of generic SUV, the wagon continues to soldier on in Europe. Evidence for that comes in the form of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT, a twin-turbo all-wheel-drive monster cloaked in rather sedate wagon bodywork. Audi added 30 horsepower from the previous incarnation of the twin-turbo V8 for a total of 621. 0-62 MPH comes in 3.3 seconds with a terminal velocity of 190 MPH. Braking is handled by carbon ceramic discs and a new locking center differential can put up to 70 percent of power to the front wheels or 85 percent to the rears. Stiffer sway bars and triple-adjustable dampers but a fine hone on a razor-sharp chassis, helped by fewer pounds thanks to carbon fiber fenders and hood. To make sure the cars sporting intentions don't go unnoticed, several exclusive liveries inspired by Audi race cars of the past are available. The RS 6 Avant GT wagon is limited to 660 units worldwide.
