Chamberlain's myQ has allowed for Internet-based control of garage doors for years. Now they're bringing the technology to the doggie door market. Dubbed the Pet Portal, this door uses a Bluetooth low energy collar beacon to know when a pet needs out or in. Twin 1080p cameras allow for monitoring of the animal's comings and goings, and IR and touch sensors prevent accidental early closings. It comes integrated into a variety of Kolbe doors, ensuring that it matches the decor of the home, and owners can receive push notifications letting them know what their furry friends have been up to. Available this spring.
