Ford X Webasto Mustang Lithium Electric Coupe

Electric vehicles are coming, and anyone worried about the Ford Mustang dropping any performance in the march toward electrification probably shouldn't worry. In collaboration with Webasto, the all-electric Ford Mustang Lithium is a 900 horsepower, 1,000 ft-lb of torque behemoth that takes the original pony car into the realm of supercars — and even has a six-speed manual transmission. The addition of a manual adds a nice touch of driver-centric fun to the EV mix, instead of the punch-it-and-go, one-pedal affairs that most current EVs and manu-matic sports cars are today. Ford didn't release any details other than power figures for the Mustang Lithium, but SEMA one-offs aren't known for their practicality — but it does give a subtle hint the upcoming Mustang-based Mach E SUV that will be officially announced in a few months.
