GehoCab Fiete Defender Camper Conversion

Loving overlanders usually means loving vans, a type of vehicle that isn't for everybody. 4x4s like the Defender and Wrangler have at best a selection of popup tents, limiting what you can take with you to your favorite outdoor destination — especially if you're interested in the upcoming Defender and Ford Bronco. Germany's GehoCab is first to launch a chassis-mount camper for the two much-hyped SUVs, redesigning their proven carbon fiber-bodied shells specifically for each. The sleek, seamless Fiete mates perfectly to the new Defender in GehoCab's renders, weighing just over 1,000 pounds at 13 feet long and attaching directly to the chassis. GehoCab even offers fixtures and other components out of carbon fiber to reduce weight even further. While space is obviously limited due to the platform, a permanent bed, kitchenette, and table along with plenty of storage to maximize the space available. GehoCab plans to launch the Fiete and Jeep Wrangler Findus October 1, 2020 with the Bronco version coming later.
