HWA EVO Mercedes-Benz 190E

Mercedes brought the 190E sedan to fight against the best in Germany in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters racing series. When BMW debuted the M3 Sport Evolution, Mercedes responded with the 190E Evo I, with 502 homologation units produced. The Evo I was followed up with the Evo II in 1990 and became an instant legend, on and off the track. German race shop HWA is celebrating its 25th anniversary by releasing a modernized version of the Evo II after over 12,000 of research, design, and testing. The original Evo's radical bodywork is subject to a redesign with wider fender flares covering wider versions of the original six-spoke wheels. The original 232 horsepower, 2.6-liter Cosworth inline-four will also be binned for a new powerplant and transmission. Deliveries of the HWA Evo will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
