Inverted FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser EV Conversions

UK-based shop Inverted is following its line of electrified Range Rovers with another classic SUV — the FJ40 Land Cruiser. Available for the FJ40, FJ43, and long wheelbase FJ45, Inverted strips each truck down its bare metal chassis before restoring to each client's specifications. Old Man Emu suspension and disc brakes are fitted, with two or four-wheel drive and an electronic locking differential. Power comes from a 53kWh battery pack and 215 horsepower electric motor, with a range of 150 miles. The drivetrain is upgradable to a Tesla unit with 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Each interior is bespoke, with fine leather and custom consoles integrating modern amenities like air conditioning, Apple CarPlay, and hi-fi sound. Inverted is taking commissions for its Land Cruiser conversions now.
