Koenigsegg CCGT1 Megacar
Koenigsegg's original CCGT was built to race in Le Mans' GT1 class, but a rule change ended the class before it ever competed, and only one car was built. The CCGT1 is a modern tribute to that unraced original, and unlike it, the CCGT1 is fully road legal. It's built on the CC850 platform and powered by a twin-turbo V8 making 1,280 horsepower on regular gas and 1,600 on E85 biofuel, run through Koenigsegg's Light Speed Transmission. Nearly every body panel has been redesigned for aerodynamics, including an active rear wing that generates up to 1,764 pounds of downforce at 155 mph. The body is finished in Ghost Fibre, a white carbon composite Koenigsegg first used on the Trevita back in 2009. Buyers can also add Koenigsegg's first-ever factory-built track package, bringing a roll cage and track-tuned suspension along with access to factory-supported track days. Only 70 cars will be built, and every one sold within hours of the car's debut at Monterey Car Week.
