Koenigsegg Konigsei Concept

Mitsubishi designer Maximilian Schneider made waves with his Mazda RX-10 Longtail Vision concept, and now he's taking on a car company with a history of nothing but exotic designs and hyper-performance — Koenigsegg. Schneider's inspiration for the car came from a mundane source — the egg — that not only lends its shape but also materials. Koenigsegg trademarks like a wrap-around windshield and wide bodywork blend seamlessly with the subtle double-bubble cockpit. Schneider specifies recycled eggshell composites for the body and interior materials, while a 6.4-liter hydrogen-fueled V8 makes 1,618 horsepower, enough to push the Konigsei from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and on to a drag-limited top speed of 274 MPH. With Koenigsegg's history of innovation, this concept isn't too far from reality.
