Mammoth Overland XLE Trailer

The company behind the Ranger R7 light sport plane has turned its aerospace fabrication shop toward a different kind of flight risk. Mammoth Overland's XLE treats bears, grid failure, and societal collapse as overlapping engineering problems worth solving simultaneously, and the all-aluminum aircraft-grade construction isn't a marketing claim. The pressurized cabin runs dual medical-grade HEPA filtration, the windows are 1-inch bulletproof glass throughout, the rear door is a multi-point-locking vault, and the spring-assisted windows deploy remote blast shields on command. The situational awareness suite covers 360-degree night-vision CCTV, a 112-decibel sonic defense system, and four remote-controlled bear-spray dispersal units covering a 25-foot perimeter. A HAM radio, onboard weather station, and Geiger counter cover communications and monitoring. Power comes from a 1,200Ah lithium bank fed by 400 watts of solar, with dual propane and a portable generator as backup. Inside, a king-size bed, interior shower, and swing-out kitchen with a two-burner stove make extended stays functional. The flare launcher, a remote-deploy 37mm unit reloadable from inside the cabin, is an $8,000 option, because some things you spec in yourself.
