Michael Schumacher's First F1 Car

When the Jordan 191 debuted on the 1991 Formula One grid, behind the wheel a generational talent and future F1 legend Michael Schumacher. Schumacher's first F1 race was the Belgian GP, and although it ended in a mechanical failure, his performance impressed Benneton F1 team boss Flavio Briatore signed him to the team the next week — leading to Shumacher's first of seven World Championships in 1994. After the 1991 season, this Jordan 191 was sold to a Belgian collector until 2005, when it was purchased by the current owner. The car still runs and has been seen at the Goodwood Festival of Speed several times and most recently the Masters Historic Race Weekend at Donington Park this year.
