MONTX P10 Concept Truck
GAC Commercial Vehicles unveiled the MONTX P10 as a concept vehicle at Auto China, an electric pickup built less for hauling and more for off-grid travel through mud, gravel, and terrain regular trucks can't cross. The body is heavily squared off and armor-inspired, finished in a shade GAC calls Fighter Jet Grey. The four-wheel distributed drive and torque vectoring pair with long-travel suspension that adjusts on its own, guided by a real-time 3D terrain map the truck builds of the ground ahead. Inside, a sliding steering wheel switches the cabin between left- and right-hand drive, meant for crossing borders where the rules flip from one side of the road to the other. The truck bed carries its own small aircraft, so when the terrain runs out for the truck, a passenger can fly the rest of the way instead of turning back.
