We all spend way too much time on our phones. While smartphone makers have tried to provide tools to manage screen time, most people don't seem to take them seriously. Opal was built with this in mind. It connects to the Screen Time API in iOS 16, providing a Focus Score based on what apps you're using and providing clear metrics and context that illustrate, for example, how many days you'll waste on your phone this year. To help improve them, it also offers a Session feature that removes specific apps from your phone and desktop when you're trying to focus, clearing away distractions before they even have a chance to pop up.
