Revolv AR isn't a game-changing app. It's not out to disrupt any established industries. But it is technically impressive and a lot of fun. It uses iOS' robust AR support and sonic analysis to dynamically visualize the sound of vinyl records in real-time. The app tracks the record's movement as well as the stylus to create multi-colored waveforms that seem to float above the record as it plays, creating a delightful (albeit questionably useful) visual accompaniment to the analog experience.
