SCG Hydrogen Fuel Cell Boot One Truck

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus already announced its intention to contest the Baja 1000 with a hydrogen-powered fuel cell truck based on their Boot chassis. Apparently, that wasn't going far enough — now SCG has plans to power that Baja truck with cryogenic hydrogen, a tech so far advanced that even getting is as much a challenge as developing the containment system. Liquified hydrogen is stored at -423 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning this whole contraption will have to be built to cross 1,000 miles of brutal desert terrain. SCG has produced renderings of what the Boot might look like, but all indications are that this project is extremely early on in development.
