Steve Jobs Signed Apple Computer Check
It's strange to think about now, but the origins of many of tech's biggest companies can be traced back to simple roots... at RadioShack. Evidence of this can be found in interviews and seen in this check from "Apple Computer Company" to the retailer. Filled out and signed by "Steven Jobs", the $4.01 check uses the company's first official address, which was a mail drop they used while operating out of Jobs' family garage. RadioShack's TRS-80 was instrumental in allowing Steve Wozniak and Jobs to build their illegal blue box free long-distance devices, which in turn led to the founding of Apple itself. In good condition for its age, the 6" x 3" check is a remarkable piece of computing history and is up for auction with bids ending on Dec. 6th.
