Tom Landry's Rolex Day-Date Watch

Coach of the Dallas Cowboys for 29 years, 20 of them winning seasons, Tom Landry is one of the best-known leaders in NFL history. Sartorially, he's best known for his Stetson fedora hat, but this yellow gold Reference 18038 Rolex Day-Date was similarly well-worn. Purchased for the coach by his wife following the Cowboys' second straight Super Bowl appearance in 1978 — the accompanying papers are made out to "Mrs. Tom Landry" — it was on his wrist for every game from then on. A wearable piece of NFL history, it's accompanied by its original box and papers, period photographs, a Tom Landry autographed Cowboys football, and the outfit Landry wore during Superbowl XII, complete with one of his signature fedoras.
