Subaru made a big step towards the future with the announcement of its first electric SUV. The Volterra was designed in a collaboration with Toyota, and will feature a motor on each axle for Subaru's signature all-wheel-drive. A 71.4 kWh battery pack will give the Volterra 285 miles of range, while total power is rated at 215 horsepower. The Volterra will go on sale in 2022.
